Brooke and Amy quickly became close friends through shared ambition, strong instincts, and a similar way of seeing the world. From the beginning, they connected over a mutual attention to detail and a belief that how something feels matters just as much as how it looks.
They later worked together at a fashion technology company in Los Angeles, where they gained firsthand experience at the intersection of fashion, product development, and innovation. Working across teams, they developed a deep understanding of consumer expectations, quality standards, and what it takes to build a brand with staying power.
After moving to Paris to study branding, they found themselves rethinking the everyday routines people often overlook, especially the moments spent winding down and recharging. That shift in perspective sparked the idea for BED.
